Parshas Korach Out of Bounds1 Hashem said to Moshe: “Bring back the staff of Aharon before the Testimony as a safekeeping – as a sign for men of rebellion. No doubt were Korach, the central protagonist of this week's Torah reading, to pronounce his lofty words today, he would be dubbed immediately a hero and guardian of democracy by the media pundits and the chattering classes.
