Well we’ve already received a lot of snow here in Iowa this winter. As much as I don’t like the cold, I am always awed by the beauty of clean, white, fluffy snow. It reminds me of the holiness of the Almighty. Yeshua was dressed in white on the Mount of Transfiguration:
Matthew 17:2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
Mark 9:3 His clothes became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.
Even one speck of dirt becomes very obvious in a pure, white setting. A speck of blood is even more startling! How blessed we are to have a Messiah who covers all our sins!
Isaiah 1:18 " Come now, and let us reason together," Says YHWH, "Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.
It doesn’t take long before the beautiful, white setting is marred by a variety of dirt, sticks, footprints, and tire prints. The picture of the holiness of the Father is quickly blurred by daily living. It’s up to us to pursue the reflection of His holiness by living lives according to His commandments! This is bride He is returning for!
Revelation 19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready." 8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
