The Identity of the Bride up to the Torah
The Identity of the Bride up to the Torah

We just prepared a new book, based on our Yeshiva study Chayyeh Sarah. You will discover what the Torah and Jewish sources teach about the Bride. Following is an excerpt that also comments the story of the cave of Machpelah, marriage in the Torah, and other themes developed in this particular portion of the Bible:

 Choosing Rivka
Genesis 24:12-14  Then he said, "O Lord God of my master Avraham, please give me success this day, and show kindness to my master Avraham. Behold, here I stand by the well of water, and the daughters of the men of the city are coming out to draw water. Now let it be that the young woman to whom I say, 'Please let down your pitcher that I may drink,' and she says, 'Drink, and I will also give your camels a drink'-let her be the one You have appointed for Your servant Yitzchak. And by this I will know that You have shown kindness to my master."
Q: What qualities is Avraham's servant looking for?
Rivka is acting this way:
Genesis 24:18 -20 So she said, "Drink, my lord." Then she quickly let her pitcher down to her hand, and gave him a drink. And when she had finished giving him a drink, she said, "I will draw water for your camels also, until they have finished drinking." Then she quickly emptied her pitcher into the trough, ran back to the well to draw water,
and drew for all his camels.

 Rivka has a heart like Avraham, the same family characteristic as him: hospitality, a heart turned towards others, and eagerness to serve his neighbor!
During the last lesson, we have seen that G-d was seeking to form a nation established on justice, charity and love of one's neighbor, for practicing hospitality and love meant knowing Him.

 One of the main characteristics of the Bride is her heart: she loves serving and understands the needs before they are mentioned:
Genesis 24:17; 19-20 And the servant ran to meet her and said, "Please let me drink a little water from your pitcher." And when she had finished giving him a drink, she said, "I will draw water for your camels also, until they have finished drinking." Then she quickly emptied her pitcher into the trough, ran back to the well to draw water, and drew for all his camels.
"The world is based upon three things: Torah, worship, and the practice of loving acts." Pirkei Avot1:2

 She fulfills the commandments (the ten camels) of the L-rd for the purpose of the Torah is to love one's neighbor as oneself:
Matthew 22:37-40 Yeshua said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it:  'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments hang all the Torah and the Prophets.
Genesis 24:58 Then they called Rivka and said to her, "Will you go with this man im haish hazeh עִם-הָאִישׁ הַזֶּה?" And she said, "I will go."

: The last letters of the words "with this man im haish hazeh עִם-  הָאִישׁ הַזֶּה" spell the word "Moshe מֹשֶׁה" who gave the Torah to the Jewish people.
 All this can be achieved only through the miraculous power of the Holy Spirit who works in a truly circumcised and surrendering heart.
 Rivka, symbol of Israel and of the House of Judah, gives water to the ten camels representing the scattered Ten tribes who must come back to drink from the sources of the Torah.
Eliezer was successful in his mission. Through Rivka, G-d provided a wife for Yitzchak corresponding to the vision of Avraham; as his physical and spiritual relative, she too longs for this vision.
Like Avraham, she would leave her country and her family to follow her mission.

 The Presents
Genesis 24:22 So it was, when the camels had finished drinking, that the man took a golden nose ring weighing half a shekel beka בֶּקַע, and two bracelets for her wrists weighing ten shekels of gold.
The presents offered by the servant to Rivka project this vision before her eyes and urge her to leave immediately to join her promised husband. The presents were not very valuable for a man as rich as Avraham but they had a great prophetic meaning:
 The half shekel represented the half shekel each Jew would later give for the census:
Exodus 38:26 a bekah the head beka lagulgolet  בֶּקַע לַגֻּלְגֹּלֶת -- half a shekel, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for every one that passed the numbering from twenty years old and upward, [of] the six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty. (DBY)..."

The Identity of the Bride up to the TorahBuy Now

Our last book has now been translated into English and Dutch now!   It is a strong prophetic message that sheds light on the rise of Islam and the solution HaShem has planned to fight it.

We are at the dawn of the 21st century, 2,000 years after the coming of our Master Yeshua and the world is on the road to ruin. While the Church should be strong after these centuries of practice, we witness the rise of a conquering religion, entering with power in all the civilized Christian countries to subjugate and submit men and women to an iron yoke. What are the reasons for this spiritual war and why does G-d allow Islam to conquer the Western world? What are the secret agreements concluded by our governments to give access to mass immigration for Muslims in Europe and in the United States? We will try to answer these questions in part, in this study based on the sacred texts of the Word of G-d and certain Jewish sources.

We are very blessed to offer the possibility to French and English speakers to study Torah and receive certification at the end of their studies. Many have registered already and the encouragements we receive are just amazing! People are going back to their Jewish roots and enter a new intimacy with our Savior! More holiness, more closeness, more understanding of G-d's plan through Jewish Sources,  of the return of the Ten Tribes...

Yeshua and Torah are one !
A revelation of the Messiah without His Torah is only a partial revelation of Yeshua!
He speaks; who will listen to His voice?
For if you really believed Moshe, you would believe me; because it was about me that he wrote.  But if you don't believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?" John 5:46-47
    Two options to study:
1. Complete Training with graduation
2. Personal Enrichment Studies

The Distance Messianic Yeshiva is meant for those who want to deepen their Torah knowledge and go back to the Jewish roots of their faith, while discovering the Presence of the Messiah from the beginning of the Book of Genesis until the Book of Revelation. It also addresses those who desire to receive serious training in order to thoroughly become and also train talmidim (disciples) according to Yeshua's commandment:
Therefore, go and make people from all nations into talmidim, immersing them into the reality of the Father, the Son and the Ruach HaKodesh, Matthew 28:19

Shabbat shalom!
Shabbat
"If you hold back your foot on Shabbat from pursuing your own interests on my holy day; if you call Shabbat a delight, ADONAI' s holy day, worth honoring; then honor it by not doing your usual things or pursuing your interests or speaking about them. Isaiah 58:14 If you do, you will find delight in ADONAI-- I will make you ride on the heights of the land and feed you with the heritage of your ancestor Yaakov, for the mouth of ADONAI has spoken." Isaiah 58:13-14

A very interesting comment from one member of the Yeshiva:
"This past weekend when I was meditating, the L-rd showed me something---not a profound revelation mind you, just a continuation of what He's been showing me concerning the House of Judah---I correlate it to 2 Corinthians 3:3 clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.

Judah is not just the keeper of the Oracles of G-d, they are not just leader in the things of G-d; He has made them a  "living epistle"---His book on display, so to speak. Again, Judah, the elder brother has been leading the way. This living epistle has been and continues  to be a visual, living  depiction of His eternal plan set in the midst of man for all to see.  Through obedience to the practice and keeping of the annual feasts, Shabbat, Torah, they continually and symbolically depict His redemption, death, burial, resurrection, infilling, ingathering, forgiveness, light, eternity through  openly keeping His commandments! This "epistle" has been on display for centuries, as a testimony, but sadly, man has not seen and has openly condemned, criticized, ridiculed, tried to destroy and has oft times refused to receive this wonderful display of HaShem's faithfulness. His awesome plan truly on display every day for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear and a heart to receive what has been written and given. I pray that all would see, but especially the House of Israel/Ephraim  as the tribes make their return. I thank G-d for putting on display through Judah, in the keeping of His appointed feasts, His eternal plan and that He has given me eyes to see!! "
You have two possibilities to study: Complete training with graduation or Personal enrichment.
The Complete training will allow those who want to teach Torah to be part of our network of Torah teachers, who desire to start a Yeshiva in their home or at their kehila. Sukkat David will offer help to those who want to initiate Torah study groups.

Take the opportunity to study Torah starting with the highly prophetic Book of Genesis. Torah is the key for the end times; everything has been written in it. We just need to dive into it and receive tremendous revelations on Yeshua and His plan for our lives.

From the beginning of the messianic calling of the first Patriarch, the Torah teaches us that faith is the key to salvation. Grace also has been present since the beginning.
The foundations are laid from the first Book of the Bible, to help us understand the perfect plan of salvation that G-d has for mankind. If one doesn't study the foundations of this plan a great part of the Revelation is lost, notably, the Revelation of Messiah Yeshua.

Receiving Him in our heart as Savior and Master is one thing, one first necessary step for our salvation, but our path doesn't stop there. After Pesach (salvation by grace), we must head to the Festival celebrated in honor of HaShem, "three days walk" after the reception of the Torah: Shavuot. Avraham saw the L-rd, and the story of his life and of his descendents reveals His Presence, even from the beginning.

The same way we have received the Savior in our hearts,  it is now about receiving His Torah engraved in our hearts, even as proclaimed by the prophets in Jeremiah 31:31.  True new birth takes place by the action of the Ruach HaKodesh, who circumcises our hearts to be able to walk according to the criteria of holiness of Elohim.

But in order to be able to walk in these commandements, under Yeshua's yoke, we need to know the Word. When did G-d speak, before the eyes and to the ears of all, with the sound of thunder, setting ablaze an entire mountain? The answer is obvious: the Creator of the universe came to reveal His heart at Mount Sinai, a place that didn't belong to anyone,  and that was open freely to all those who wanted to drink the waters of life.
Yeshua manifested Himself on that day at Mount Sinai, but only Moshe could see Him. Moshe's skin shone so intensely that he covered it with a veil. He shone from the initial Light of Creation: the Light of Messiah. He is the PURPOSE of the Torah; He fills us with His love and calls us to follow Him, to prepare a heavenly Bride.

He left us these words: John 5:45-47 But don't think that it is I who will be your accuser before the Father. Do you know who will accuse you? Moshe, the very one you have counted on! For if you really believed Moshe, you would believe me; because it was about me that he wrote. But if you don't believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?

Indeed, if we don't believe the Torah of Moshe, how will we believe the words of Yeshua? They are the same, only revealed to our  understanding, because the veil was lifted.
By studying the Torah, our intimate knowledge and revelation of Yeshua grows.

Don't stay at the stage of Pesach and salvation by grace; move on to the stage of priesthood! He is preparing the Kingdom of priests for the Glory of G-d the Father!

Register to the Yeshiva, we are over 180 students from  many different English and French speaking countries. Join the set -apart people on their way to meet their Groom!

Chanukka first candle lighting next Thursday evening!
Chanukkah
Eight days of lighting the Chanukkiah, a time of inward circumcision. According to Jeremiah's prophecy (Jeremiah 31), the  circumcision of our hearts allows for the Torah to be engraved on them. To have a circumcised heart also means to have a renewed mind, a new way of thinking based on the Word of G-d as mentioned by
Sha'ul:  Romans 12:2 In other words, do not let yourselves be conformed to the standards of the 'olam hazeh. Instead, keep letting yourselves be transformed by the renewing of your minds; so that you will know what God wants and will agree that what he wants is good, satisfying and able to succeed.

Excerpts of the Book:
" Now it is important to understand that the Greeks did not seek to destroy the Jews physically, as it was the case several times in history, with Amalek, Hitler and Islamists today. In contrast, they sought to impose their worldview; they wanted the spirits and minds of the Jews, to have them abandon their faith in the G-d Who was One and Who cared about forming a people holy in His criteria.
When the Greeks entered Jerusalem, they found no military opposition, but after a time of more or less pacific occupation, the Jews showed unusual resistance: they refused the culture! They realized that their identity as a set apart people was jeopardized and they had no choice; they had to resist or to die. Compromise was simply impossible. In view of the Hellenization power spreading over the world at that time, Israel had to react and counter the movement, like a firewall against the enemy.
From that moment on, the Jews became the Greeks' worst enemy since their "globalization" was not taking effect in Jerusalem; Greek democracy opposed Jewish Theocracy, but it soon became inadmissible for the Greeks, notably under the reign of Antiochus Epiphanes.
Although the population refused the common enemy of forced Hellenization, two clans appeared among the Jews: the righteous (Chassidim) among poor classes who refused any concession; and the Hellenizers (Mityavnim) from wealthier classes. Seduced and often afraid of the violence of the Greeks, they went to the gymnasium and to the theater. They learned to speak Greek; they dressed in Greek fashion and chose Greek names. Many Jews were conquered and many, willing to please the Greeks and take part in the Olympic Games, compromised to the point of grafting a foreskin to hide their circumcision, which the Greeks considered as mutilation.
Antiochus IV dreamed of becoming a second Alexander. With the help of the Hellenizers, he discharged the Cohen Gadol Onias and replaced him with Jason, his brother Hellenist who had exchanged his Hebrew name Yehoshua for Jason.
The religious Jews faithful to the Torah refused to assimilate and continued to study in secret. The Jewish revolt began in the context of a serious event which took place in the town of Modi'in. Mattityahu, a Cohen and father of five sons, rebelled against the royal order to sacrifice a pig on the altar:....]

Définition of Hellenism:
Here is a definition given by those who claim to be part of this pagan movement, still functioning in Greece today:
"Hellenism (ELLENIKON ETHNISMOS) is not simply a Religion and Cosmotheory, it is a certain form of human consciousness and an everyday ethos. It is a strong adversary of the so-called "Monotheism" and this not only due to its being the most well-documented of the ancient polytheistic nature-religions, but also because it is the cultural product of a civilization much higher -on all levels- than the one which created and spread the worship of a Desert "God" throughout the world.

Hellenism perceives Cosmos (KOSMOS, i.e. the Universe) as an ever-existing Being, which not only was not created by some "creator" God out of nothing (EK TOU MEDENOS), but on the contrary allowed the Gods themselves to be created through its procedures. Hellenism understands Cosmos as APEIRON (Apeiron, Infinity) in great, wonderful order and therefore in Hellenic language Cosmos means also jewel (KOSMOS, KOSMENA). Gods were born inside the Cosmos and live inside it -they are part of it. This is our REAL dispute with the so-called "Monotheism;" not the number of Gods (One or Many, Mono- or Poly-) but where the God or Gods stand in relation to the Cosmos. For the
"Monotheists" the Cosmos was created by an ever-existing Being outside it (so in this macro-historical level it is nothing more than a mortal creation). For the "Monotheists" Cosmos is a creation that has to obey the laws of its "creator." For us Hellenes, the eternal Cosmos emerges always from inside of itself (ANADYETAI AFS EAUTOU) and is the creator of all Gods, which have to obey its own laws."

Hellenism is a deeply pagan religion. It is based on the negation of monotheism. It denies the only true G-d of the Bible. This thinking is at the origin of our Western world.
