ANNUAL PRAYER UPDATE He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many (prayer warriors!) with me. Psalms 55:18 KJV Shabbat shalom dearly beloved friends, partners and prayer warriors! Some of you have requested a prayer update and we agree that it is time to give one. This LAST year we have gone through the Valley, the Garden, the Cross and we are seeing now signs of RESURRECTION. Every person that will ever do anything of value will have to pass through the Valley, the Garden (Gethsemane) and the Cross. In the Valley the enemy will try to discourage him/her. If they pass through the Valley without fear, then comes the Garden which looks beautiful but it is a place of a deep encounter with our own soul. Will we obey though we would like to run away? If we pass through the Garden and say YES, now comes the Cross that kills whatever flesh or “self life” we have left. Any other hopes but in HIM ALONE, gets killed at the Cross and even then we may cry out “Abba, Abba lama shachachtani?” Why have YOU forsaken me? This is a time of deep brokenness that “kills us”. After the Cross there is a big silence for a season, like nothing is happening for everything happens “underground” as if all has been futile. But then suddenly a great “rumbling” and a “rushing of a violent wind” and behold, the Power, the Resurrection the Manifestation of the Promise! Most people can never do anything of value for they escape at the Valley or the Garden. Once you are on the Cross, it is over for no criminal in ancient times could take themselves off the Cross. Once we reach the Cross that means we are committed, the only thing that needs to be done is to YIELD until crucifixion is over, any “squirming”- causes more unnecessary pain and lengthens the process. Trust in YHVH with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.Proverbs 3:5 Submit yourselves, then, to God (in the midst of all circumstances, trust HIM!). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Yaakov (James) 4:7 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.Romans 12:1 TEARS AND MORE TEARS My song “EMJE KOL DIMA” in our new CD “Abba Shebashamayim” describes what has happened to us the best. It means “I will wipe all tears”, “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away” Revelation 21:4 This song is written as a testimony of Yah’s grace in the midst of the Valley of the Shadow of Death, the Garden of Gethsemane and the Cross all of 2010. What I realized is that there needs to be tears in order for Him to wipe them from our eyes! There needs to be mourning so that there can be comfort. So, mourning and tears are not that bad if you put your hope and trust in Him. He cries with you and helps you cry too! We do not mourn as the world does, we mourn TOGETHER with Him, in total communion with the Holy Spirit but we need to be HONEST with Yah (God). Denying feelings is like a “time bomb”, it will explode sooner or later so it is better to acknowledge what you feel so that we take the sting out. Once it is in the light, He can help us. All things must come to the LIGHT before they can be cleansed. And there were many feelings this last year! Summary and Praise Reports up to date January 2011 For You have rescued my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. Psalms 116:8 So, now we are back in Eilat having planted 5 new Spanish Bible Schools in Boca Raton, Miami, Peru and Ecuador and many more in English! Having planted a hub in Lima, Peru as well as taping our new CD “Abba Shebashamayim” and handling another litter of our (Karen’s) Pekinese dogs! The Prayer Tower in Eilat gets filled every Shabbat from multi -national (especially Finnish!) people coming and going. Some of the Israelis that we have preached the Gospel to are starting to wake up for the need of Messiah. My heart is doing better, my voice is too, my left arm is healed, Yuval is working on a sales company and has become one of their top salesmen, his health is still sensitive (please keep that in prayer too!) but he is ALIVE! Though Adi is still struggling emotionally (please pray for her) she is overcoming and will re-start studies in February. At least she can smile now! (See Adi and Yuval in the picture with my music CD “Love song to Eilat”!) Though most of our things are in storage yet we have a cosy tiny apartment where we can live and rest from our constant travelling, 5 minutes away from the Ministry Prayer Tower! Please keep the need for a web administrator in prayer. After having walked through The Valley, the Garden; hanged on the Cross and being buried this year, can we say that we are in a Resurrection period? It looks like it though the scars of this year’s crucifixion are still very fresh. We can only say that we have no doubt that YOUR PRAYERS have helped us through! Never underestimate the power of praying friends. Your love and Your prayers are priceless. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for holding us up! The FRUIT is and will be amazing! TOGETHER we are embracing the entire GLOBE from Israel and YOU are part of it!
