commentaries from Ardelle on Toldot

Can we do תפילות prayers for:
Ardelle and Cal

That through them The האור Light,  רפואה The Healing and The ואהבה Love of ישועת יהוה Yeshuath YHWH may come back to הארץ The Land of Israel?

Shalom Family!

We sure have learned a lot since we began venturing from our life in the city to life out in the country.  It’s amazing how active the night is and how much of the dark world we are not aware of.  The other night we as we returned home, we followed a opossum down our road and watched him run right under the door of our shed.  Being the brave out door girl that I am, I decided to follow him in there.  I slowly opened the door and was surprised to be looking in the face of a very large skunk!  Close call for me!  I shut the door and RAN back to the truck where a few minutes later we watched the big fellow find his way out and run into the darkness.  We never did find the opossum.  I sure am glad that the Father has called us out of the darkness and into the light!

I wanted to share with you a beautiful story sent to me by a dear friend of the world’s oldest holocaust survivor.  Alice will put a smile on your face as she shares her love for people, for music, and for life in general -    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlccsLr48Mw&feature=player_embedded

Shabbat Shalom!
Ardelle

Little Children

Train Up A Child...

by haRold Smith
Jerusalem, Israel

"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6

"...but Yahshua said, 'Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven'." Matthew 19:14

"My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth." 1John 3:18

Every so often I have the pleasure to introduce you to a part of the Kingdom of God that is refreshing in its approach and pure in its motivation. Bible Islands is an example of just such an approach. My friends at Compedia Ltd., a global leader in interactive educational content for children and based in Israel, have developed a unique dimension for helping children ages 4 through 8 learn the stories of the Bible by means of an online, interactive game full of activities and challenges. Not only is it a highly creative and artistic way for children to have fun as they are immersed in the stories of the God of the Bible, but great care has also been taken by Compedia Ltd. to assure parents that every precaution has been included to insure the security and safety required of the internet in this age of computing. Compedia Ltd., with the help of Christian educators, has built Bible Islands around themes that underscore and up hold traditional Biblical ideals and values. What better way to raise up the next generation of children with a sensitivity toward the things of God than with an appreciation of their spiritual heritage as told through the stories of the Old Testament?

One of the best reasons for becoming involved with Bible Islands is that, not only will you be investing in the future of your own children, but you will also be investing in the lives of other children whose circumstances have been less than ideal. The small amount of money you put into Bible Islands is plowed back into to Nitzanim Le’atid, an Israeli non-profit organization that offers innovative solutions to address challenges faced by vulnerable populations. Specially devised computer based educational enrichment programs have been developed to assist hospitalized children, youth at risk, immigrants from countries of distress, Holocaust survivors and disabled soldiers to mention but a few.

Nitzanim Le’atid If you are truly interested in helping the People and Land of Israel as well as those around you, then here is where you can make a real, tangible difference in lives for eternity. It is we who are responsible for the next generation of people who will occupy influential positions in the world we leave them. Let us be diligent in our obligation to place a light of Truth within the heart of every child we possibly can. Bring that light into the lives of children you know and at the same time, help others in need.

Bible Islands makes a Great Gift for your child, your grandchild, a relative's child, the neighbor's child or a whole classroom of children under your care. Bible Islands is safe, inexpensive, educational, challenging and the money goes to help others all at the same time. You would be hard pressed to find a program anywhere that can be more beneficial in as many areas at once.
