Shalom! And Welcome To Everyone Who Is New To The Group!

Yom Kippur - Tonight marks the beginning of Yom Kippur.  The fast begins tonight, where we afflict our souls (fast).  There is no regular Torah reading; however, there is a special Holy Day reading, Leviticus 16 and 18.  The Haftarah reading is Isaiah 57:4 - 58:14.  May Adonai have mercy upon us all this Yom Kippur season.  Forgive us our Father for we have erred; pardon us, our King, for we have willfully sinned; for You pardon and forgive.  Blessed are You, Adonai, the gracious One Who pardons abundantly.
