SPECIAL EDITION CLOSING 2010   To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant—  to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name  that will endure forever. Isaiah 56:4, 5 Shabbat shalom dearly beloved: Shabbat shalom dearly beloved and a blessed closing of the Secular Calendar Year of 2010! Who are these “eunuchs” that will receive such blessings and whom Yah will especially remember in order to bless and favor? And what is a EUNUCH? We all remember the Eunuch that Philip the Mevaser (Evangelist) preached the Gospel to. He was a High Official with great authority in charge of all the treasures of the Queen of Ethiopia!! (Acts 8:26-40) The following is a short summery from Wikepedia about EUNUCHS A eunuch (pronounced /ˈjuːnək/; Greek: "Ευνούχος") is a castrated man, usually one castrated early enough to have major hormonal consequences. The term usually refers to those castrated (without their consent) in order to perform a specific social function, as was historically common in many societies. The earliest records for intentional castration to produce eunuchs are from the Sumerian city of Lagash in the 21st century BC. Over the millennia since, they have performed a wide variety of functions in many different cultures such as: courtiers or equivalent domestics, treble singers, religious specialists, government officials, military commanders, and guardians of women or harem servants. In some translations of ancient texts, individuals identified as eunuchs sometimes historically included men who were impotent with women, as well as those who were celibate. EUNUCHS ARE NOT HOMOSEXUALS! THEY ARE ASEXUAL, THEY HAVE NO SEX LIFE1 From this we can deduct that a Eunuch was a man that had no sexual life at all and no sexual interest. Paul described himself as a “Eunuch for the Kingdom” as he stayed CELIBATE and Yeshua spoke about eunuchs in a very clear manner. Yeshua replied, “Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others—and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it. Matthew 19:11, 12 The context in which Yeshua spoke is the context of marriage. He was instructing His disciples something revolutionary for that time and certainly for THIS time too! Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female, (not two males or two females! D.B.)’ 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate. Matthew 19:4-6 Yeshua was saying that He had designed one man for one woman! At that time it was customary for a man to have a few wives and it was easy to divorce them. That was the Fallen Culture of the time. That is why even our Biblical forefathers had many wives. But Yeshua that came to RESTORE all things to their original pattern as designed by the Creator was saying. Time is up with sexual promiscuity! He said that this situation happened because of the hardness of the hearts of man! Though his dislike of divorce is clear YET, it is not RIGID! He gave a way of escape to those men or women bound in a relationship with immoral spouses or unbelievers. He allowed a way out and also an option for new beginnings in another relationship! “I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.” Matthew 19:9 When Yeshua ended this teaching on marriage, he actually ends it with a word on “eunuchs”. In other words He was saying very clearly: Either marry one woman or stay a eunuch (no sex life!)! If that woman cheated on you, you can divorce her if not you can’t; if that woman does not want you anymore, go ahead and stay a EUNUCH! This instruction was specifically for MEN! Let us see the three types of eunuchs that Yeshua describes: Eunuchs from birth: Those are men that are born without any sexual inclinations. Or others that are born without testicles or mangled in their sexual organs. Made eunuchs by other: These are men that were castrated by other people to serve a purpose. Most all captives taken by any kingdom were castrated and then entered into the service of the King. In ancient kingdoms most of the important servants of kings and emperors were eunuchs. In modern times some- times the circumstances of life, prostate problems or unwilling wives force a man to stay a Eunuch against his desires. Choose to be eunuchs for the Kingdom: Those are men like Yeshua and Paul, that the Call demanded undivided attention and they could not spend energy or thoughts in nothing else but the High Calling itself! They are not castrated physically but choose celibacy and they were certainly not homosexuals! Yeshua said that no everyone could receive this Calling to being a eunuch, but whoever could -should accept it.  “The one who can accept this should accept it.”  Matthew 19:12b How does it translate to the 21st Century? YHVH is calling men to holiness in the sexual arena! There are too many men involved in pornography. Too many pastors have fallen into adultery while in ministry. This has become a true plague! His word says: Stop covering sexual sins and repent! Immorality separates you from the Presence of Yah (God). Pornography is some of the worst forms of immorality; it is as adultery and fornication! But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart if your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. Matthew 5:28, 29 If you do not have a wife, stay a “EUNUCH!” If your wife is separated from you or she does not seem to “satisfy you” work it out between the two of you, go to anointed counselling but do not resort to immorality. You will lose your Kingdom inheritance in no time just like Esau did for a morsel of food and self gratification! See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. Hebrews 12:16 YHVH will give you the strength but do not be fooled to think that because you delve into pornography or masturbation (!) no one knows. YAH (God) knows! Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with me, nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9, 10 Masturbation is a type of homosexuality and it incurs in great judgment for the semen is SPILT! So it is with the use of the famous condoms and it is a spirit of LUST! In Genesis 38:8-10 YHVH killed the son of Judah Onan, for spilling his semen. From his name is derived the Hebrew word for masturbation which is onenut. Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 1 John 2:15, 16 No type of sexual lust, fornication (sex outside of marriage), adultery or immorality is LOVE. If immorality and sexual lust is present the LOVE of the Father is NOT present! If you are called to be a eunuch for a while or for life due to the CALL of YHVH or due to circumstances not under your control, just YIELD to it! Your Father in Heaven will give you the strength and the JOY! The precious Holy Spirit will assist you as you surrender to holiness in the sexual arena! All young and unmarried men should be as eunuchs until they marry! Sexual purity is the Call of the Hour for all men and women! For those who are married the Word admonishes, Drink water from your own cistern, running water from your own well. Should your springs overflow in the streets, your streams of water in the public squares? Proverbs 5:15, 16 For all the others, the word admonishes “Stay a Eunuch!” Some men will have to be for a season and others for life! Notice the word’s blessings on the Eunuchs that keep Yah’s Commandments. To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant—  to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name  that will endure forever. Isaiah 56:4, 5 To those men who are not married and walk in total sexual holiness (EUNUCHS!), YHVH will give a BETTER name than to all the others! And he will remember them to favor them especially! Notice the importance of keeping the Shabbat holy in this context! It is during Shabbat that Yah does most of our formation as disciples. When people profane the Shabbat because of ignorance or on negligence, they miss the most important Day for formation and Communion with the Father! Even during the Millennial Reign of Yeshua ALL Mankind will worship on Shabbat! From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me,” says YHVH.
