Since we are still celebrating the festival of lights, I wanted to share with you an interesting thought about light.  Two sticks rubbed together will bring about a fire giving light.  Since the Haftarah this week is Ezekiel 37 concerning the two stick prophecy, I found that thought provoking.

Also I wanted to share an e-magazine from Jeff Benner with the Ancient Hebrew Research Center.  In this week’s issue, number 57, he has an interesting insight on the word “Torah” as it pertains to this week’s Torah portion.  You can access this issue and/or subscribe to the magazine at http://www.ancient-hebrew.org/emagazine/.  You will also find other archived issues there.  Very interesting reading!
