Dear,
I have been eagerly looking forward to sharing Gal Einai's new (God willing) weekly video blog-magazine with you.
For many years, we have wanted to share with non-Hebrew speakers and novice Hebrew students, the incredible breadth and beauty of the Torah taught by Harav Ginsburgh. Normally, though, the weekly class, and other opportunities in which the Rav speaks, are too long and pose too great a challenge for many.
The purpose of our new video blog is to present short, encapsulated thoughts, from the Rav's classes, not longer than 10 to 15 minutes each, and with enough self-containment that they can be relatively easily understood and enjoyed.
So, this week, it is my pleasure to point you in the way of the first installment of the blog. All three segments are from this week's Monday night class. Segment topics will change from week to week, and we expect to add some more video dazzle in future issues.
This week's three segments are: - Parashah segment: Milk and Meat - How to two positives make a negative?
- Mind and psyche segment: 4 types of conflict and one more
- The era of Mashiach segment: Torah and worldly knowledge
English transcripts of this week's lectures
Please note that the content of all these transcripts/notes was neither seen nor reviewed by Harav Ginsburgh, so all the mistakes are mine. Weekly video In addition to our new video magazine-blog, we have a new video class on the parshah titled, " Doctors and thieves." Rebbe Zusha taught that there are 7 things that can be learnt from a thief and implemented even in the holiest of paths. Rav Ginsburgh takes these 7 qualities and applies them to the medical profession. You don't want to miss this very entertaining video.
Wishing you a Shabbat Shalom, Rabbi Moshe Genuth
