Greetings from the blessed Land of Israel.  We feel so blessed to be here.  I'd like to share just a few thoughts about language.  It can sometimes be a barrier and sometimes a way of bonding people together.  How I would love to speak good Hebrew at this moment!  I believe that Hebrew is the language that our Creator spoke the universe into existence.  Is it important today?  Yes, of course.  It is a language that we can use to bless the Father.  It is the language that our Messiah Yeshua spoke.  Studying the Hebrew Scriptures is the best way of studying the Bible.  And with Hebrew we can communicate our most intimate thoughts with one another.  Yes, I know that Hebrew has changed through the years and perhaps we have distorted it in one sense or another.  But someday our Father will completely restore us to His language.  Learning Hebrew today may bring us all one step closer to that restoration.  While we are here in the Land we hope to serve one another with a Hebrew mindset and that includes attempting with all our hearts to speak Hebrew with our brothers and sisters.  Every pursuit can be so overwhelming, but like learning anything, it is accomplished in our walk just one step at a time.

Midrash is the name given to certain collections of writings that are ordered around the layout of the Tanach. The Midrash is distinguished by the high amount of Aggadah it contains. Aggadah is the name given to a certain kind of writing (be it history, story, legend, allegory, scientific observation or such like) that is not legal or concerned with law. The Midrash is, therefore, mostly collections of stories that relate to words, themes, or narratives in the Tanach.

Please join us!   Please plan to come for a day or 10 days! We will be tabernacling together as family as a rehearsal for when our Messiah returns.  This is a rehearsal of the Marriage of the Lamb! Don't miss it! Hebrew Nation Dear, We are in  the season of the Fall Feast of Yahweh. We celebrated Yom Teruah - Feast of Trumpets - last week. It was such a blessing to see all of the local assemblies come together to blow their shofars.
