Message 10-30-10 Chayei Sarah-Life of Sarah Genesis 23:1-25:18 1 Kings 1:1-31 Introduction Sarah dies at 127. Abraham buys the cave of Machpelah in order to bury Sarah. Abraham sends his servant to find a bride for Isaac. Rebecca shows her kindness (and fitness to be Isaac’s wife) by giving the servant water and offering to draw water for his camels. The servant meets her family, including her brother Laban, and then takes Rebecca to Isaac, who marries her. Abraham takes another wife, named Keturah. At the age of 175 Abraham dies, and Isaac and Ishmael bury him in the cave of Machpelah.   Shalom Chaverim!
