It’s hard to believe, but we are already in the 3rd book of the Torah. The book of Vayikra begins where Shemot left off. The Tabernacle has been built, the glory has filled it, and now there must be more directions for the services that will take place there. What is the reason for the sacrifices? The Hebrew word for sacrifice, korban, means to draw near. It is a way of drawing near, or being intimate with YHWH. The Almighty is often thought of as our King or a Father, but with His chosen people, He describes Himself as a husband. Thus, the book of Vayikra will describe the appropriate way of approach for the unified bride, known as Israel. Life is in the blood, and as we study this book we’ll see how Yeshua has prepared the way for His bride to be restored. Don’t miss being part of this restoration!
