Shalom Chaverim (friends) and Greetings from the Land of Israel,
Welcome to this week's Torah study, Masei which recounts the journeys of the children of Israel after leaving Egypt.

We are all on a journey - passing through this life as pilgrims and strangers on our way to eternity.  Sometimes it helps to just stop and take stock of our wanderings.
We can take a little time to recall our journey with the Lord:  this is where we stopped and rested beside still waters for a season while he restored our soul,
 this is where He made a way where there was no way; this is where God provided for my needs when I didn't know how we would make it;
 this is where we faced that terrible battle but God fought the battle and gave us the victory;
 this is where a storm of life-threateneing proportions blew up all around us, but Yeshua calmed the storm and brought us through to the other side in safety.
This past week seemed filled with trips back and forth into the city of Jerusalem to various offices and filling out mountains of paperwork to deal with the accident that happened last week on the way home from Beit Shemesh.  The final stop was at Jerusalem's 'graveyard for vehicles' involved in collisions that meant the end of the road for them.  I needed to release the car in order for them to tow my almost new Hyundai Getz 'Fun' to its final resting place.  I guess the 'fun' is over for this particular car.
When I saw the damage to the vehicle, however, I was shocked!  Not only was the back end completely smashed in and windshield shattered, but the front end sustained considerable damage as well (and I don't even remember being propelled into the vehicle in front)!  The fact that the children were not in the back seat at the time of the accident and that I was not more seriously injured is truly a miracle and evidence of God's amazing grace!  THANK YOU FOR YOUR FAITHFUL PRAYERS!
It has been SO HOT!  these past days in Israel.  We are 'Schvitzzing' (sweating) as my parents would say in Yiddish. I am so thankful that I can be refreshed mid-day with a cool shower!
We even patched the holes in our pool and filled it with cold water so the kids could splash and play. (photo attached)   THANK GOD FOR WATERS OF LIFE AND REFRESHMENT.
 Today In the haftorah (Prophetic portion), God is called MAKOR MAYIM CHAYIM - the Source of Living Waters.  Yeshua invites us to come and drink of the living waters which is the Spirit.  May you drink deeply and be refreshed!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ONGOING LOVE, PRAYERS AND GENEROUS SUPPORT!
Love Hannah, Timothy, Liat & Avi
